The Libraries on Clemson’s main campus are R.M. Cooper Library, the main library, as well as Gunnin Architecture Library, Special Collections & Archives, and the Education Media Center. Other facilitiesinclude Charleston Architecture Library and the Depot, which houses remote storage and some staff. We also have collections in the Chemistry Reading Room and Campbell Graduate Engineering Center at CU-ICAR.

Clemson University Libraries have over 1.6 million print volumes, 415,000 eBooks, 65,878 eJournals, and approximately 500 databases. The libraries collection also includes 1,094,576 microforms,165,923 audio/visuals, and 10,956 downloadable units (audio, video).

Special Collections contains 362 processed manuscript collections including the papers of John C. Calhoun, Thomas Green Clemson, James F. Byrnes, and Strom Thurmond.

We also hold the papers of the Directors of the National Park Service documenting its expansion and controversies during the past fifty years along with numerous unique digital collections
