Cathie Jo Martin is professor of Political Science at Boston University and former chair of the Council for European Studies. Professor Martin specializes in the relationship between business and social policy and other issues in comparative public policy. Her book with Duane Swank, The Political Construction of Business Interests: Coordination, Growth and Equality (Cambridge University Press, 2012) won the David Greenstone book prize from the Politics and History section of the American Political Science Association. Martin co-edited with Jane Mansbridge the American Political Science Association presidential task force report, Negotiating Agreement in Politics (APSA 2013).
